This hike features a deep
descent in to Bald Rock Canyon on the Middle Fork of the
Feather River. The other way to visit is by kayaking Class
5+ rapids; the trail is definitely safer and plenty exciting
enough.
Has staircase
down granite area, so not good if afraid of heights.
Dangerous if snow is below 3,500'
elevation (steep cross slopes).
Flowers best approximately early
